This is an in-town day shift position with some weekend work. (40 + hours a week). Any use of the CDL would be within the St. Louis metro and surrounding area. Pay up to $18/hour.

Summary Drives truck to transport materials to and from specified destinations, by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Drive tractor-trailer truck to safely and efficiently transport products to specified destinations.
Inspects tractor-trailer before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition.
Reads bills of lading to determine assignment.
Fastens chain or binders to secure load on trailer during transit.
Loads or unloads, or assists in loading and unloading tractor trailer with forklift or pallet jack.
Services truck with oil, fuel, and radiator fluid to maintain tractor-trailer.
Obtains customer's signature or collects payment for services when required.
Inventories and inspects goods to be moved.
Wraps goods using pads, packing paper, and containers, and secures load to trailer wall using straps.
Gives directions to helper in packing and moving goods to trailer.
Drives tractor-trailer combination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations, to transport and deliver products over variable distances.
Maneuvers truck into loading or unloading position, following signals from loading crew as needed.
Drives truck to weigh station before and after loading, and along route to document weight and conform to state regulations.
Operates vehicles in accordance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
Maintains driver log according to applicable regulations.
Responsible for all aspects of preparing freight to ship, moving, and loading tractor trailer.
Assist forklift drivers with loads, customer pickups, and clearing lines.
Shrink wrap or band if needed.
Swap out trailers in receiving as needed.
Swap out bale trailer as needed.
Operate Forklift to load and unload materials, most without pallets.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience
One year certificate from college or technical school; or 2 to 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Amtech and related Manufacturing software; and GPS.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must possess and maintain a valid Class A CDL license and maintain insurability under the company’s insurance plans.
Must be able to pass a DOT physicals and drug screen.
Must possess or obtain a valid forklift operator’s license from Boxes, Inc.
